Abu Adel Engineering & Mechanical Services was founded by Mr. Abdul Razzaq Abdullah Abdul Rahman Haidar, a Qatari businessman who began his professional journey in the late 1970s in the contracting and construction sector.

He started his career by executing government housing projects, later expanding during the 1980s to include the construction of government schools, clubs, and sports halls.
By the end of that decade, he had shifted focus toward infrastructure projects, including:

• Water and sewage networks
• Wastewater treatment plants
• Water stations

In 1988, Mr. Abdul Razzaq established Abu Adel Engineering & Mechanical Services, making it one of the pioneering companies in Qatar specializing in the supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants.

He later founded one of the largest specialized workshops in Qatar for the design and fabrication of steel structures, as well as a dedicated workshop for assembling electrical panels.

In 2000, he expanded into the real estate investment sector, establishing a private real estate company that developed residential compounds, office buildings, and warehouses for food materials and general goods.

Mr. Abdul Razzaq’s entrepreneurial activities extended beyond Qatar, as he established manufacturing facilities in other regional countries further strengthening his reputation as a prominent business leader.

After a distinguished career filled with achievements, Mr. Abdulrazzaq Abdullah Abdulrahman Haidar handed over, in 2019, the responsibility of overseeing the projects to his sons, with the management now led by Engineer Mr. Adel Abdulrazzaq Haidar and his brothers
